About Techdrill 2024

‘Sinhgad Techdrill – 2024’ organized by MCA Institutes under the aegis of Sinhgad Technical Education Society (STES), co-organized by Sinhgad Institute of Management – SIOM, one of the most sought after Management Institutes in the region, is a 3 days technical extravaganza from 14th to 16th February 2024 at multiple campuses of Sinhgad Institutes in Pune.

Centered around the theme “Development of Technology for the Betterment of Society” this is an innovative and dynamic tech event that serves as a hub for cutting-edge advancements in the world of technology, which will witness over 2000 students from many colleges, including IITs from across the country competing in a diverse line up of over 21 innovative and challenging events, a plethora of competitions, workshops, seminars, trainings and keynote sessions by Industry and Academic experts.

Digital Knowledge Competition – Assessing candidate’s digital skills using quiz formats consisting of objective, subjective, and programming questions

Description

The competition, organized on an international scale, encompasses a wide array of digital disciplines, including technology, IT, digital marketing, data science, web development, cyber security, and digital innovation. Participants will be immersed in a series of challenging tasks, assessments, and Language code that evaluate both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, providing a comprehensive assessment of their capabilities in navigating the dynamic digital landscape.

Objectives of Event

To incorporate STES-President’s vision of building a knowledge society and making education equitable and accessible for all.
This joint venture aims to create a platform where participants from around the world can showcase their digital expertise and skills.
With a distant dream to reach to the remotest corner of the world as education facilitators, the competition will support the participation of students from developing and underdeveloped countries.
To foster international collaboration and networking among participants, creating a global community of digital enthusiasts.
To facilitate international collaboration and knowledge-sharing among computer science enthusiasts.
To provide participants with a platform to enhance their skills and encourage continuous learning in various digital domains.
To inspire and recognize innovative solutions and approaches in digital technologies and practices. To identify and acknowledge outstanding individuals or teams for their exceptional performance and knowledge in various digital disciplines.
To connect participants with potential career opportunities, educational programs, and industry mentors in the digital sector.

Rules – Standard Operating Procedure Event

Registration fees Rs. 50/- per Indian participant and $2 for international participant
Candidates will tick only the correct answer
Participants will be given 90 minutes to respond to online questions for 100 marks and 2nd round spanning 60 minutes for 100 marks
Participants can register only once
Registration should be done before the competition.
Cross-border dialogue between student SPOCS on the 8th of February 2024
The first round will be held on the 14th of February 2024
The final round will be on the 16th of February 2024
Prizes will be shipped/couriered to the participant’s address in case of out of India/out of Maharashtra
Evaluation will be done based on scores attained in preliminaries and finals
